Ladies, let’s talk. When was the last time you stopped and did nothing? And no, quickly scrolling through your phone doesn’t count. I mean, actually pause and be in the moment. Between juggling a career, a family, fitness goals, and a social life, it’s easy to get caught up in the busyness of life.
I get it, we all have deadlines to meet, meetings to attend, and laundry that magically reappears like some kind of magic. But seriously what’s the point of being a superwoman if you never enjoy the cape? We hustle so hard that we forget to bask in the glory of our own achievements. Trust me, this is coming from someone who is recovering from being always on schedule and running to the next activity. I promise nothing will explode if you don’t respond to that email for another 10 minutes. Or, if it does, at least you’ll have the most relaxed reaction when it does.
Consider this, if God created this beautiful world and still rested on the seventh day, surely we can spare a moment for ourselves. So the next time you are racing, pause and appreciate the little things, a perfect cup of tea (or coffee😊) , a quiet moment in your car, or even your favorite song on radio. The roses, metaphorically or otherwise, are waiting for you.
Slow down just a bit. Life’s too short to be lived entirely in fast-forward. Besides, you deserve to look up from your schedule and admire the beauty around! It’s Saturday morning in my part of the world and the plan is to have a relaxed day, no back to back activities, and just enjoying spring and smelling the roses.

Gratitude – this week, I am grateful for my children. They bring me so much joy, and I am grateful that God entrusted them to me. They keep me busy and on my feet most of the time 😊😊😊 but in the midst of it all, I have learnt to stop and smell the 🌹too.
PS – What are you grateful for this week? Let me know in the comments. If you enjoy my content, please follow me here, and you will get an email with a new post every Saturday (SAT Time)
Until next time…..
