Surrendered Hearts And Patient Souls…The Twins Birth Story.

Next week, our twins are turning 11. Even after all  these years, I still have pinch me moments where I can not believe how everything happened. So here is the back story. This is a long post. You have been warned. When we got married almost eighteen years ago, I prayed and asked God forContinueContinue reading “Surrendered Hearts And Patient Souls…The Twins Birth Story.”

The Self-Made Illusion

We often celebrate the idea of being “self-made,” but is anyone truly self-made? Even Jesus, in fulfilling His divine mission, relied on a close circle of people from disciples to friends and supporters. This post unpacks the myth of individual success and highlights the power of community, support, and God-ordained relationships in our personal and professional journeys. It’s time we traded self-sufficiency for grace-filled interdependence.

Nurturing Friendships In The Midst of Career And Motherhood Demands

There’s no shortage of people I can sit with and have a genuine laugh with, and just share life with. But when it comes to actually finding a time that works for both of us? That’s where the real struggle begins. Somewhere between work meetings, school pick-ups, extra-curricular activities, and personal development, friendships seem to take a backup seat.   Even when we both mean well and want to meet up, it turns into a long back and forth of “what about next month?” or “can we try again after this project ends?”

And don’t get me started on time zones. Some of my closest friends are spread across different parts of the world now. When I’m finally free for a chat after bedtime routines, they’re fast asleep or knee-deep in their own daily madness. Coordinating a simple phone call feels like planning an international summit sometimes.

If you have been here for a while, you know we are all about helping working women thrive in their personal and professional lives. The batallion’s challenges were no different from the challenges that we face in our careers and personal lives today. Here are my key career takeouts from the movie

Bold moves and big wins: 2024 reflections

Today’s post is a testimony of my gratitude to God for the year 2024.

Yet To Be Answered Prayers

Don’t let the end of a calendar year discourage you regarding your still to be answered prayers. What seems like a delay is often a divine setup. Your prayers are not forgotten, and the God who sees every tear and hears every whisper is still writing your story. Rest assured that His timing is always right. Keep believing, keep praying, and keep expecting—God is still at work.
